RJC are the premier, telecommunication and broadcasting tall structure, painting, protective coating, and stay greasing company within the UK.
RJC have a dedicated, experienced, and fully trained workforce. Our personnel are experienced in all aspects of tall structure working, backed up by the company’s accreditations in Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety, including UVDB accreditation and associated site audit approvals.
The major tall structure site operators Arqiva, BT & VT Communications, as well as the MOD and Local Authorities, regularly and routinely utilise our services.
RJC have provided painting and greasing services for more than 25 years. We have successfully completed several hundreds of painting and greasing projects on many structures, ranging from 15metres to 350metres.
RJC consider themselves leaders in both the technical and safety aspects of the application and removal of protective coatings. As a company RJC are very experienced in the use of many types of paint systems including solvent based paints such as MIO (micaceous iron oxide). In conjunction with one of our major clients BT, and one of our preferred suppliers, we have also been a driving force in helping to develop and promote the use of water based paints, to help reduce the environmental impact of VOs (volatile organics) created by solvent based paint systems.
RJC have also been keen to help encourage and adopt best practice techniques with the use of tall structure access equipment for painting works, such as man riding winches and bosuns chair working, to help minimise the need for the workforce to free climb the steel work. This promotes safer working arrangements for our personnel, and also, in our opinion, gives a much superior finished product for our clients.
When it comes to the removal of hazardous coating systems such as paints containing red lead, or derivatives of red lead or chromates, then RJC are the company of choice for our major clients. This is why RJC were awarded the contracts for the removal and replacement of the paint systems at two of London’s most important broadcasting sites, Croydon and Crystal Palace, and also at a large transmitting structure, next to a superstore in Lisburn, in Northern Ireland. All three of these sites were high profile, and high risk. Our clients therefore required a company who they knew would fully understand the environmental and safety risks, and who could develop the necessary solutions and processes to deliver a quality product and service safely, on time, and on budget.
RJC offer a complete painting and protective coating service including
As well as the telecommunication and broadcasting industry we also offer our services to the Oil and Gas industry. One of our recent projects was the cleaning and painting of one of the largest flare stacks in Europe which on a refinery in Belgium. RJC were chosen for these works because of the clients need for absolute assurance with regards to quality of product, safety and environmental compliances.
RJC have a consistent and proven track record of delivering a quality service, on budget on time, time after time. This is why RJC are the number one choice for tall structure painting and greasing maintenance works.
