Hoardings, Partitions, Barriers & Site Security

Very few construction projects can be undertaken without first of all establishing a suitable barrier, to protect and provide security for site access and egress. When working on locations such as a Railway environment, it becomes even more important to provide first-class site security and protection for the public, with a high quality product which also reinforces a positive corporate image for our clients.

Working within the Railway environment requires an in depth knowledge as to what is permissible and possible within pre-defined project parameters. If a hoarding is not in place, or dismantled in time, the repercussions in terms of programme milestones and associated costs can often be onerous.

With an experienced management team and a dedicated installation workforce, RJC have been fabricating, supplying, installing, and maintaining hoardings, barriers, and partitions, including Section 12 compliant steel and fire rated (See RJC Midland Division) panel systems, for London Underground & other Railway projects for more than 20 years.

RJC are solution providers and we can supply hoarding and partition systems for many varied types of projects and locations, including station escalators, platforms, and general areas affected by construction and building refurbishment works. RJC also have in-house drawing capabilities which, enables us to supply detailed lay-out and profile illustrations, and if necessary, we can also supply engineering calculations and Construction Design Statements (CDS).

RJC have also developed a moveable protective barrier system in conjunction with a be-spoke mobile scaffold platform, for use on projects with short working time durations such as station platform working. This system can enable much greater productivity and cost savings.
