RJC Midlands Division

The Midlands Division of RJC has been formed to create the ability to work on the Network Rail System throughout England, as well as carrying out specialist Passive Fire Protection works within both the Rail and General Sectors.

Our staff have many years of experience in the exacting and demanding Rail Environment and this means that Health and Safety, along with Safe Working Practices, are second nature to everyone from basic operatives to senior management. This ability to work safely, along with the high Quality Standards that we expect from our staff gives our Clients peace of mind and the knowledge that they have the best possible team looking after, and working on, their projects.

Our main abilities consist of:

• Hoardings – we can supply standard types to delineate work areas etc. and also more specialised hoarding systems to provide fire compartmentation, security, and noise & dust suppression. We offer a drawing facility so that we can provide suggestions for your approval and we can also provide full calculations and CDS for site specific applications.

• Passive Fire Protection – this includes Fire Compartmentation using means such as service void fire stopping, walls & barriers, fire doors, cladding, etc. We are fully FIRAS approved and therefore have the ability to certify our own work to the correct standards.

• Metalwork – both structural and architectural. Structural metalwork includes minor alterations to existing structural steel through to new specialist buildings including fitting such items as wheel lathes and their associated supports and pits. Architectural metalwork includes such things as Handrails & Balustrades, Vitreous Enamel and Stainless Steel Cladding and Cable Management Systems. Our depth of knowledge of the materials and the installation methods used enable us to offer our clients expert advice on the solutions to their requirements.

• Asset Maintain Teams – These are able to provide both rapid response and planned maintenance to the Rail and General Sectors. Our teams are able to carry out minor building and civils works, along with metalwork repairs and installations.
